Create an item in monday.com when a support ticket is opened in HubSpot

When a support ticket is opened in HubSpot, create an item in monday.com.

Start the 14-day trial, then find it under Templates → Library. It installs into the client you choose, switched off, with its checklist.

UsesBeta

Every step, in order

When it happens in the first app, the step runs in the second, with the client’s own account.

A support ticket is opened
A ticket created in HubSpot, checked every 5 minutes. The token needs the tickets scope.
Create an item
An item on a board, named. Columns are set on the board’s defaults.
  1. Starts whenA support ticket is opened
  2. App stepNamed after the ticket’s subject

What each client fills in

monday.com: Board ID
For example the number in the board’s URL

The accounts it needs

Each is the client’s own, stored encrypted and never copied between clients. Until one is added the client’s checklist shows it, and nothing runs.

  • In the client’s HubSpot: Settings → Integrations → Private Apps (Legacy apps) → Create → scopes crm.objects.contacts.write, and for the triggers crm.objects.contacts.read, crm.objects.deals.read and tickets → copy the access token. A private app needs no HubSpot review.

  • In the client’s monday.com: avatar → Developers → My access tokens → Show → copy.

After you install it

It lands switched off. The client’s checklist holds exactly this:

  1. Connect the client’s HubSpot, for “A support ticket is opened”
  2. Connect the client’s monday.com, for “Create an item”
  3. Fill in monday.com: Board ID (For example the number in the board’s URL)

Thrum is cooking.
