For trades

Every call-out answered fast, and the urgent ones on the owner’s phone.

Picture a plumbing company with a few vans out on jobs all day. Requests come in while everyone is under a sink, and by the time someone calls back, the customer has rung the next number on the list.

With Lead Rescue, every request gets a reply the moment it is sent. A burst pipe reaches the owner’s phone, and anyone nobody has called back within the hour gets a link to book. Texts wait out the night in the business’s time zone, so a request sent after 21:00 is answered at 08:00.

Thrum opens soon. Sign up now and you’ll be among the first in.

A request, start to finish

What happens the moment someone asks

  1. 01

    The request arrives

Someone fills in the call-out form. Straight away, or at 08:00 if it arrives overnight, they get a text and an email saying the business has it.
  2. 02

    An emergency?

If what they wrote contains one of the urgent words, the owner gets a text with the name, the number and a link to mark it contacted. Ten minutes later, if nobody has, the second number gets it too.
  3. 03

    Nobody called back

For everything else, Lead Rescue waits an hour. If the lead still has not been contacted, it texts them the booking link and emails the owner one line to say so.

Setting it up

One template, 5 fields to fill in.

All of this is one template, Lead Rescue, set up for the business with its own words and keys, on a form started from the Emergency call-out or Roofing quote request template. For a business like this, the urgent words might be:

leak, burst, no water, no heat, gas

and the booking link would be the online booking page. Add the client’s Twilio and Resend keys, and the checklist is done.

  • Business name. How the texts and emails sign off.
  • Owner’s mobile. Rung for emergencies. Add a second number after a comma and the escalation goes there.
  • Owner’s email. Gets one line for every lead the workflow rescues.
  • Urgent words. Comma-separated. A lead that mentions any of them is treated as an emergency.
  • Booking or quote link. Sent to a lead nobody has contacted after an hour.

Beyond the first reply

The rest of the business, in the same workspace.

  • A survey visit, booked

The reply carries a link to the booking page, where the customer picks a visit in the time the business has free. HowBeta
  • The quote, chased

A quote-chase sequence emails two days after the quote goes out and stops when they reply or the job is won. HowBeta
  • The deposit, paid

A pay page on the business’s own Stripe, linked from the quote, and the payment on the customer’s record. HowBeta
