Send an email in Brevo when a record is added in Airtable

When a record is added in Airtable, send an email in Brevo.

Start the 14-day trial, then find it under Templates → Library. It installs into the client you choose, switched off, with its checklist.

A record is added in Airtable, within 15 minutes

Every step, in order

When it happens in the first app, the step runs in the second, with the client’s own account.

A record is added
A new row in a table, checked every 15 minutes. The token needs data.records:read.
Send an email
A plain-text transactional email from a sender verified in Brevo.

  2. App stepSend an email

What each client fills in

Brevo: From address
For example hello@northside.example
Who it goes to (Brevo)
The address that gets it: yours, or the client’s team.
Airtable: Base ID
For example appXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Airtable: Table
For example Leads

The accounts it needs

Each is the client’s own, stored encrypted and never copied between clients. Until one is added the client’s checklist shows it, and nothing runs.

  • Airtable

airtable.com/create/tokens → Create token → scopes data.records:write and data.records:read (lookups and the triggers) → add the client’s base → copy the token.

  • Brevo

In the client’s Brevo: account menu → SMTP & API → API Keys → Generate a new API key.

After you install it

It lands switched off. The client’s checklist holds exactly this:

  1. Connect the client’s Airtable, for “A record is added”
  2. Connect the client’s Brevo, for “Send an email”
  3. Fill in Airtable: Base ID (For example appXXXXXXXXXXXXXX)
  4. Fill in Airtable: Table (For example Leads)
  5. Fill in Brevo: From address (For example hello@northside.example)
  6. Fill in Who it goes to (Brevo) (The address that gets it: yours, or the client’s team)
