Send an email in Postmark when a record is added in Airtable

Postmark: From

The address that gets it: yours, or the client’s team.

The accounts it needs

Each is the client’s own, stored encrypted and never copied between clients. Until one is added the client’s checklist shows it, and nothing runs.

• Airtable

  airtable.com/create/tokens → Create token → scopes data.records:write and data.records:read (lookups and the triggers) → add the client’s base → copy the token.

• 

  Postmark → the client’s server → API Tokens → copy the Server API token. The From address must be a confirmed sender signature or on a verified domain.

After you install it

It lands switched off. The client’s checklist holds exactly this:

1. Connect the client’s Airtable, for “A record is added”
2. Connect the client’s Postmark, for “Send an email”
3. Fill in Airtable: Base ID (For example appXXXXXXXXXXXXXX)
4. Fill in Airtable: Table (For example Leads)
5. Fill in Postmark: From (For example Northside Plumbing <hello@northside.example>)
6. Fill in Who it goes to (Postmark) (The address that gets it: yours, or the client’s team)
