Client portal

Show every client the work you do for them, in their own brand.

Every client gets a portal the moment you add them, made for their phone. It shows their leads, their month, and whatever else they use: the inbox, bookings, email, content, revenue and approvals.

Everyone at the client signs in with their own email, as a viewer who reads or a manager who can act. There is no limit on how many.

Thrum opens soon. Sign up now and you’ll be among the first in.

Branding

Pick one colour. The portal works out the rest.

Give each client a name, a logo and one colour. The portal builds a light and a dark palette from it and picks every text colour for contrast, so even a yellow brand gets readable buttons. The preview beside the editor is the portal itself.

On Agency and Scale the portal can move to the client’s own domain. Its sign-in emails and reports can come from the client’s own address.

What the client reads

Your client sees what happened, in plain words.

Each lead tells its story in sentences such as “We texted them” and “We emailed them”, with how fast the first reply went out. Step names, run ids, error codes and health alerts stay on your side.

Every client is its own workspace, and a portal only ever opens its own. How each client is kept apart.

The monthly report

On the 1st, their month in one email.

Each client gets their month in their colours: new leads against the month before, how many heard back inside 2 minutes, the typical reply, and messages sent. When campaigns went out or payments came in, it covers those too.

You get a copy, ready to forward, with one extra line only you see: any workflow that stopped, failed or ran slowly that month.

Sign-in

No passwords to forget: a link or a six-digit code.

Your client types their email and gets a one-time link, plus a code for when the link opens on another device. They stay signed in for a month.

The answer is the same whether or not an address has access, so nobody can use the form to find out who your clients are.

Beta

On the home screen, with a nudge for every new lead.

The portal installs to the phone’s home screen under the client’s name and colour. Push tells them about new leads, bookings and chat messages, and about leads left waiting.

Quiet hours, on unless they turn them off, hold notifications overnight.

Questions about the portal

Do my clients need to create accounts?

No. They get a sign-in link and a code by email. There is no password to forget.

Is each client’s data kept apart?

Yes. Every client is its own workspace, and the portal only ever opens the workspace its own address belongs to. Each client’s keys are encrypted and bound to that client, so a key copied into another workspace will not decrypt. The security page has the detail.

Will my clients see your name?

Not on Agency or Scale. On Solo, during the trial and when unpaid, the footer carries one small “Powered by Thrum” link, and nothing else names us.

Can the portal run on my client’s own domain?

On Agency and Scale. Add their domain and one TXT record to prove it is theirs; once it checks out, the portal answers there with its own certificate. Until then it sits on a subdomain of ours.

Can sign-in emails come from my client’s address?

Yes. Add a sending domain on a subdomain of theirs, such as mg.theirbusiness.com, so the records on their main domain never change. The Portal page lists the records to add and checks them. Until the domain is verified, mail goes from our address under the client’s name, with replies going to the client.

Does my client get told when a workflow breaks?

No. Health alerts go to you. If a message to a lead could not be sent, that lead says so in plain words. An optional status page can show each workflow as running or not, and it is off unless you turn it on.

What counts as a lead?

A clean submission to one of the client’s forms, unless the form keeps its responses out of the leads, as surveys and feedback forms do. The response time is how long it took for the first text or email to be sent to that person.
