Create an item in monday.com when a ticket is resolved (or closed) in Freshdesk

When a ticket is resolved (or closed) in Freshdesk, create an item in monday.com.

Start the 14-day trial, then find it under Templates → Library. It installs into the client you choose, switched off, with its checklist.

A ticket is resolved (or closed) in Freshdesk, within 5 minutes

UsesBeta

Every step, in order

When it happens in the first app, the step runs in the second, with the client’s own account.

A ticket is resolved (or closed)
A ticket reaches Resolved or Closed, checked every 5 minutes; once per ticket and status.
Create an item
An item on a board, named. Columns are set on the board’s defaults.
  1. Starts whenA ticket is resolved (or closed)
  2. App stepNamed after the ticket’s subject

What each client fills in

monday.com: Board ID
For example the number in the board’s URL

The accounts it needs

Each is the client’s own, stored encrypted and never copied between clients. Until one is added the client’s checklist shows it, and nothing runs.

  • In the client’s Freshdesk: profile picture → Profile settings → View API key.

  • In the client’s monday.com: avatar → Developers → My access tokens → Show → copy.

After you install it

It lands switched off. The client’s checklist holds exactly this:

  1. Connect the client’s Freshdesk, for “A ticket is resolved (or closed)”
  2. Connect the client’s monday.com, for “Create an item”
  3. Fill in monday.com: Board ID (For example the number in the board’s URL)
