UsesBeta

Every step, in order

When it happens in the first app, the step runs in the second, with the client’s own account.

A task is added to a list
A new task in a list, checked every 5 minutes.
Create a record
Add one row to a table. Field names must match the table’s columns.

  2. App stepCreate a record

What each client fills in

Airtable: Base ID
From the base’s URL: airtable.com/appXXXX/…
Airtable: Table
For example Leads
ClickUp: List ID
For example the number in the list’s URL

The accounts it needs

Each is the client’s own, stored encrypted and never copied between clients. Until one is added the client’s checklist shows it, and nothing runs.

  • In the client’s ClickUp: avatar → Settings → Apps → API Token → Generate.

  • Airtable

airtable.com/create/tokens → Create token → scopes data.records:write and data.records:read (lookups and the triggers) → add the client’s base → copy the token.

After you install it

It lands switched off. The client’s checklist holds exactly this:

  1. Connect the client’s ClickUp, for “A task is added to a list”
  2. Connect the client’s Airtable, for “Create a record”
  3. Fill in ClickUp: List ID (For example the number in the list’s URL)
  4. Fill in Airtable: Base ID (From the base’s URL: airtable.com/appXXXX/…)
  5. Fill in Airtable: Table (For example Leads)
  6. Match Airtable’s fields to the client’s own: Task, Status, Priority, Due epoch ms
