UsesBeta

Every step, in order

When it happens in the first app, the step runs in the second, with the client’s own account.

An order is paid
An order whose payment went through, checked every 5 minutes; once per order. The app needs the read_orders scope.
Add or update a contact
Creates the contact, or updates the one with the same email or phone (the sub-account’s duplicate rules).

What each client fills in

Nothing. It needs only the accounts it connects to.

The accounts it needs

Each is the client’s own, stored encrypted and never copied between clients. Until one is added the client’s checklist shows it, and nothing runs.

  • Only for a store that already has an admin-created custom app. In the client’s Shopify admin: Apps → Develop apps → the app: its Admin API scopes must include write_customers and read_orders; the token is under API credentials (shown once when it is made; if it is no longer shown, generate a new one).

  • GoHighLevel

In the client’s sub-account: Settings → Private Integrations → Create new integration → scopes contacts.write (and contacts.readonly) → copy the token. The Location ID is under Settings → Business Profile.

After you install it

It lands switched off. The client’s checklist holds exactly this:

  1. Connect the client’s Shopify, for “An order is paid”
  2. Connect the client’s GoHighLevel, for “Add or update a contact”

Thrum is cooking.
