Create a task in ClickUp when an issue changes status in Linear
When an issue changes status in Linear, create a task in ClickUp.
Start the 14-day trial, then find it under Templates → Library. It installs into the client you choose, switched off, with its checklist.
Every step, in order
When it happens in the first app, the step runs in the second, with the client’s own account.
- An issue changes status
- An issue in a team moves to another status, within seconds.
- Create a task
- A task in a list.
- Starts whenAn issue changes status
- App stepNamed after the issue
What each client fills in
- ClickUp: List ID
- For example from the list’s URL
- Linear: Team ID
- Webhooks can be made only with an admin’s API key.
The accounts it needs
Each is the client’s own, stored encrypted and never copied between clients. Until one is added the client’s checklist shows it, and nothing runs.
After you install it
It lands switched off. The client’s checklist holds exactly this:
- Connect the client’s Linear, for “An issue changes status”
- Connect the client’s ClickUp, for “Create a task”
- Fill in Linear: Team ID (Webhooks can be made only with an admin’s API key)
- Fill in ClickUp: List ID (For example from the list’s URL)
