Every step, in order

When it happens in the first app, the step runs in the second, with the client’s own account.

Someone books a meeting
A new booking on the account’s Calendly, within seconds.
Add a database row
A new page in a database, with its title set. Other properties are typed in Notion; set them there with defaults.

What each client fills in

Notion: Database ID
For example the 32 characters in the database URL
Notion: Title column
For example Name

The accounts it needs

Each is the client’s own, stored encrypted and never copied between clients. Until one is added the client’s checklist shows it, and nothing runs.

  • Calendly

In the client’s Calendly: Integrations & apps → API and webhooks → Personal access tokens → Generate new token, with the scopes scheduling_links:write (booking links) and, for the triggers, users:read, webhooks:read and webhooks:write. A token made before Calendly introduced scopes keeps full access.

  • notion.so/profile/integrations → New integration (Internal) in the client’s workspace → Capabilities: Read content, Insert content and Update content (the row update needs the last) → copy the secret. Then open the database → ••• → Connections → add the integration.

After you install it

It lands switched off. The client’s checklist holds exactly this:

  1. Connect the client’s Calendly, for “Someone books a meeting”
  2. Connect the client’s Notion, for “Add a database row”
  3. Fill in Notion: Database ID (For example the 32 characters in the database URL)
  4. Fill in Notion: Title column (For example Name)
  5. Confirm with the client: The client’s Calendly is on a paid plan (Standard, Teams or Enterprise): Calendly sends webhook events only on those.

Thrum is cooking.

Get early access and you’ll be among the first in. Early members get a launch perk.
