Lead rescue for hair salons and barbershops on Square
Answer every new lead within a minute, get the owner on the emergencies, and chase anyone nobody has called back within the hour.
Start the 14-day trial, then find it under Templates → Library. It installs into the client you choose, switched off, with its checklist.
Every step, in order
Branches show each arm; a step indented under one runs only on that arm. The words are the template’s own, and the client’s fields fill them in.
Why this workflow
Most small businesses lose leads in the first hour, not the first week: the enquiry lands while the owner is on a job, and by the time anyone calls back the customer has booked someone else. An instant reply buys time, an alert gets the urgent ones answered, and a check an hour later catches the leads that slipped.

What each client fills in
- Business name
- How the texts and emails sign off.
- Owner’s mobile
- Rung for emergencies. Add a second number after a comma and the escalation goes there.
- Owner’s email
- Gets one line for every lead the workflow rescues.
- Booking or quote link
- Sent to a lead nobody has contacted after an hour.
After you install it
It lands switched off. The client’s checklist holds exactly this:
- Pick the client’s form that starts it
- Connect the client’s Twilio (SMS), for “Text the owner: a person must reply”, “Tell them a person will call”, “Instant reply”, “Text the owner now”, “Escalate” and “The rescue”
- Connect the client’s Resend (email), for “Email acknowledgement” and “Tell the owner”
- Connect the client’s Webhook URL (CRM or sheet) (optional: the step can be turned off instead), for “Send to CRM or sheet”
- Fill in Owner’s mobile (Rung for emergencies. Add a second number after a comma and the escalation goes there)
- Fill in Business name (How the texts and emails sign off)
- Fill in Booking or quote link (Sent to a lead nobody has contacted after an hour)
- Fill in Owner’s email (Gets one line for every lead the workflow rescues)
What it does not do
- Red flags come first. An enquiry that mentions “allergic reaction”, “swelling”, “burning scalp”, “blisters”, “difficulty breathing” goes straight to a person and is never sent a booking link or an automatic answer: for hair salons and barbershops on Square these are signs the right answer is emergency or professional care, not an appointment.
